Das Royal Naval Dockyard, also bekannt als King`s Wharf, befindet sich auf der Insel Ireland Island in der westlichsten der neun Regionen von Bermuda, der Sandys Parish. Die Hafenanlagen wurden lange Zeit von den Briten als "Gibraltar des Westens" genutzt. Sie dienten als Werft und Verpflegungsstation für Schiffe, die zwischen den Westindies in der Karibik und Nova Scotia unterwegs waren. Das Fort, das zwischen 1814 und 1863 erbaut wurde, diente sowohl im Ersten als auch im Zweiten Weltkrieg als Basis und wurde 1951 aufgegeben.
