Day 1: Sydney (New South Wales), Australia. Departure time: 16:00. Sydney is the capital of the state of New South Wales and is located on the east coast of Australia. With its 4.4 million inhabitants, it is the largest city on the Australian continent and serves as the industrial, commercial, financial, and tourism center of the entire state. The landmark of Sydney is the sail-shaped opera house as well as the world-famous Harbour Bridge in the largest natural harbor in the world. There are over 70 different beaches in the Sydney region, including the popular Bondi Beach, especially for surfers. Other attractions of the city include the Taronga Zoo, the old town "The Rocks," the 305m high Sydney Tower, or the Darling Harbour entertainment center. A special excursion destination in the surrounding area is the Blue Mountain National Park. The rock formations of the Three Sisters give visitors an insight into the vastness and untouched beauty that the unique continent has to offer.

The Italian capital Rome is also called "the Eternal City", because the pulsating metropolis still harbors valuable, world-famous treasures from antiquity. The most important attractions of the city include the "Baths of Caracalla", the Imperial Forum, the Colosseum, the "Piazza Navona", the fountain of the god Neptune, and of course St. Peter`s Basilica with Michelangelo`s dome.

Additionally, the city on the Atlantic coast boasts a unique architectural heritage from the 18th century. Bordeaux houses ten municipal museums that preserve the cultural heritage, such as the "Musée d`Aquitaine" (Museum of Regional History) and the "Musée des Beaux Arts", an art gallery. Among the most important attractions of this cultural city are the "Palais de la Bourse", the old city gate "Porte Cailhau", the "Pont de Pierre" with its 17 arches, the Cathedral of St. André, the Church of St. Michel, and the Girondists monument on the "Place des Quinconces", one of the largest squares in Europe.

Here, in the St. Coleman Cathedral, the only carillon in all of Ireland can be found, which consists of 49 bronze bells. Bergen is one of the most charming cities in Norway, not least because of its unique location between seven hills. The city, with a population of 218,000, is the second largest in the country and the capital of the Hordaland County. In 1070, Bishop Olav Kyrre granted Bergen city rights, and in 1217, King Hakon IV declared it the capital of Norway. The oldest and most famous wooden houses in the city can be found on Bryggen, the former Hanseatic wharf. These unique buildings have been included in the UNESCO list of world heritage sites, as one of four sites in Norway. Places of interest include the Hanseatic Museum, Bryggen Museum, Bergenhus Fortress, Mariakirken, Jorgenskirken, and the leprosy museum, as well as the aquarium.

Day 63: Tromsø, Norway. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. In the north of Norway, above the Arctic Circle, stretches the city of Tromsø with a population of 60,000. It is the largest metropolis in the north, along with the Russian city of Murmansk, and is popular among tourists from all over the world. Tromsø is one of the best places to observe the spectacular Northern Lights. Other attractions include the impressive Arctic Cathedral, the Polar Museum, and the world`s northernmost botanical garden. Fish lovers will find themselves in the right place in Tromsø! The Norwegian fishing town of Honningsvag is located approximately 25 km from the North Cape. This is the second northernmost point in Europe and is located on the Norwegian island of Mageroya. The North Cape offers a magnificent view over the northern Arctic Ocean. But the most beautiful attraction is witnessing the midnight sun. This natural phenomenon can only be seen north of the Arctic Circle. It is based on the fact that in the Arctic regions, the sun remains above the horizon even at midnight during the summer.

Day 67: Ice fjords (Ísafjörður), Iceland. Arrival time: 09:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. Ísafjörður is made up of several districts that stretch from the end of the fjord on the north side to the original settlement, where the harbor is located. On the other side of the fjord is the airport, or rather the runway, with a small terminal building. Although the entire northwest fjords are losing inhabitants to more prosperous areas, Ísafjörður is able to retain its citizens and even records slight growth, with a population of 3,500 people today. The town was founded as a settlement of the Hanseatic League and later taken over by the Danes. Ísafjörður is an excellent example of the development of Icelandic architecture. Five houses built in the 18th century are protected monuments in Ísafjörður. The oldest house dates back to the mid-18th century, and the newest is from 1788.
