In the island`s capital of San Miguel, you can enjoy shopping and sample the culinary delights of the island. Swimming, diving, and up-close encounters with dolphins can be experienced at Chankanaab Park and Reef. If relaxation is what you seek, you can unwind at one of the numerous beach clubs on the island. When in Belize, it is highly recommended to visit one of the famous Mayan ruins such as Altun Ha, Caracol, or Lamanai. For a longer stay, a day trip to the rainforest is also worth considering.

Visits to the Tampa Rico Cigar Company cigar factory and Busch Gardens, an African-themed amusement park with shops and restaurants, are recommended.
