Cruise Route

Day 1: San Diego (California), USA. Departure time: 16:00. San Diego, the second largest city in California located in the very south of the country, is characterized by Spanish, Mexican, and American culture. The year-round consistently warm and sunny climate adds to the attractiveness of this palm-fringed trendy city. Matching the weather, the greater San Diego area offers a total of 112 km of beach. Mission Bay provides ample opportunities for fishing, sailing, motorboating, surfing, and swimming. Additionally, San Diego is surrounded by a beautiful landscape with mountains and large fruit and vegetable plantations. Attractions include: Old Town, San Diego Zoo, the upscale suburb of La Jolla, the Maritime Museum, Balboa Park, the Museum of Art, and the Science Center.

Day 2: Santa Barbara (California), USA. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours. In the sun-kissed Californian city of Santa Barbara, Mediterranean charm, a dreamlike climate, and lively beach life come together. The cityscape, with its architecture in the old Spanish style, owes its existence to the earthquake of 1925, after which the city fathers decided to rebuild Santa Barbara in the old Spanish mission style. The city offers numerous sights, such as the Mission Santa Barbara, founded in 1786, with its beautiful facade and two bell towers. In the city center, there are many historic adobe houses from the era of Spanish and Mexican colonization. Worth seeing are also the Santa Barbara County Courthouse in the Spanish-Moorish style and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Additionally, there are 18 beaches inviting visitors for swimming, and in the city center on State Street, there are numerous shops, restaurants, and street cafes.

Day 3 - 4: Sea day.

Day 5: Victoria (British Columbia), Canada. Arrival time: 09:00. Departure time: 23:00. Duration of port stay: 14 hours. The charming provincial capital of British Columbia is located on Vancouver Island and offers European flair with narrow streets lined with beautiful 19th century stone buildings. Victorian architecture, red double-decker buses, and nostalgic horse-drawn carriages evoke the colonial era of the British Empire. A special attraction on the northern outskirts is Vancouver`s Grouse Mountain, which can be reached by cable car and offers excellent winter sports and hiking opportunities as well as a magnificent view over the city. Nearby is also the Capilano Suspension Bridge, a 137m long suspension bridge that swings freely at a height of 70m above a river gorge and can be crossed by visitors.
