Day 2: Castries, St. Lucia. Arrival time: 06:00. Departure time: 20:00. Duration of port stay: 14 hours. Castries is the main and port city of the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. With approximately 65,000 inhabitants, it is the largest city on the island, located between the Caribbean Sea and green hills. It serves as the starting point for excursions to the island of St. Lucia. In Castries, there are hardly any historical sights left to see, as many wooden houses burned down in recent decades. Worth seeing are the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at Columbus Square and the Government House.
