Cruise Route

Day 1: Lautoka (Viti Levu), Fiji. Departure time: 23:45. As an economic and cultural center, the sugar metropolis of Lautoka is the second largest city in the Fiji Islands. The main street, lined with royal palm trees, creates a friendly cityscape. Mosques, Hindu temples, and Christian churches testify to the vibrant history and diversity of the residents. There are several restaurants and hotels, but especially a good art gallery in a hotel right by the water. Lautoka is also the starting point for many tours to the neighboring islands. Day 2: Sea day.

Day 3: Taveuni, Fiji. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours. Taveuni is the third largest of the Fiji Islands. It is largely covered by tropical rainforest, which is why the island is also known as the Garden Island. Hiking in the Bouma National Heritage Park is highly recommended. Underwater enthusiasts should not miss a dive, but snorkeling is also possible in the coral reef. Another special feature is that Taveuni is located directly on the 180th meridian, and a date line marker indicates the exact location.

Day 4: Port Denarau, Fiji. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. Port Denerau is located on Denerau Island in the Pacific Ocean, which belongs to the Fiji Islands. The island is privately owned and offers a golf course, several hotels, and numerous restaurants and shops. Port Denerau is the main hub of island life, as it is home to supermarkets, bakeries, hairdressers, and a wide range of tourist activities.

Day 5: Sea day.

Day 6: Champagne Bay, Vanuatu. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 11 hours. Located on the east coast of the island of Espiritu Santo in the South Pacific, Champagne Bay is a perfect destination for peace-seeking vacationers. With its 82 neighboring islands, the island is part of the state of Vanuatu. This island paradise with its white sandy beach and turquoise waters is surrounded by coconut palms. Inland, hills and mountains covered with jungle stretch out.

Day 7: Port Vila, Vanuatu. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. Port Vila is the capital of the independent Republic of Vanuatu, located in the southwestern Pacific. It was formerly known as the "New Hebrides". The city, situated on one of the volcanic islands, offers volcano flights, sailing trips, and harbor cruises, and is also a paradise for divers. Original World War II sites as well as one of the world`s largest collections of Pacific artifacts can be visited.

Day 8: Mystery Island, Vanuatu. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 16:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours. Mystery Island is one of the southernmost islands of Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean. Picture-perfect white beaches, palm trees, and coral reefs shape the island`s scenery. Whether you want to swim, snorkel, dive, kayak, or hike, Mystery Island offers you an unforgettable stay!.

Day 9: Isle of Pines, New Caledonia. Arrival time: 08:30. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours 30 minutes. White sandy beaches, turquoise lagoons, and rainforest characterize this beautiful island (70 km southeast of Grande Terre). Remains of settlements that are 4,000 years old have been found here. In the 19th century, it served as a penal colony – today only ruins of the prison remain. Day trips from Nouméa to Vao, the largest city on Ile des Pins, are very popular with visitors.

Day 10: Nouméa, New Caledonia. Arrival time: 01:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 17 hours. Noumea invites you to deep-sea fishing, a helicopter flight over breathtaking landscapes, or pure relaxation on a catamaran cruise. If you want to learn more about the island people, visit the excellent cultural center in Kanak Path.

Day 11: Sea day.

Day 12: Norfolk Island, Australia. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 19:30. Duration of port stay: 12 hours 30 minutes. Norfolk Island is located in the Pacific Ocean between New Caledonia and Australia. The nature reserve, which covers a quarter of the island, is particularly popular with visitors. Due to its location, the island was once used as a penal colony. The former settlement of the prisoners can now be visited and is also used for museum and cultural purposes. Another attraction is the Maritime Museum in Kingston, which offers visitors an insight into the history of shipping.

Day 13: Sea day.

Day 14: Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 11 hours. The "Bay of Islands" is one of the most beautiful areas in New Zealand and fascinates with approximately 144 islands and its rich flora and fauna. The attraction is the "Cape Brett" with the huge natural rock formation "Hole in the Rock". This is a massive rock in the sea with such a large hole that ferries can pass through during calm seas. From the main town of the bay, Paihia, you can take boat tours to the islands of the bay or to the northern tip of New Zealand. Other noteworthy places in the bay include Waitangi with the Maori meeting house, Kerikeri with the "Mission Kemp House", the whaling station "Russell" with the oldest surviving church in New Zealand, and Kawakawa with the "Waiomio Caves" and the Maori fortress "Ruapekapeka Pa".

Day 15: Auckland, New Zealand. Arrival time: 07:00. With over 1 million inhabitants, Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand. It is located between the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea. Its nickname "City of Sails" is due to the "thousand boats" that dwell in its harbor. The metropolis spans an 11 km wide strait of volcanic rock and is a paradise for water enthusiasts. North of Auckland, the "Leigh Marine Reserve" offers abundant opportunities for underwater activities. A cultural attraction is the "Auckland Museum".
