In close proximity is the wild Norangdal with the famous mountains "Slogen", "Smorskredtind", "Skruven", and "Kvitegga". The landscape and the view are very impressive. During a kayaking tour, you can admire the beauty of the fjord from the water and also explore the most remote corners of the coast and the waterfalls cascading down the cliffs for hundreds of meters. A hike to the viewpoint Ørnevegen is definitely recommended. From there, you have a breathtaking view of the waterfalls, the fjord, and the unique landscape that makes this area so special.

The student city of Trondheim, with a population of 150,000, is one of the largest cities in Norway. This historically significant coronation city is a modern city with its prestigious university, lively shopping area, and diverse museums. Open-air concerts in the summer or the famous cathedral concerts during St. Olav`s Festival Week make Trondheim a popular metropolis in Central Norway, and with a bit of luck, you can even go salmon fishing in the city! Sights include the cathedral, the Archbishop`s residence, the Museum of Applied Art, the old city bridge, the Maritime Museum, and the Science Museum.

Day 8: Flam (Aurlandsfjord), Norway. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours. The Norwegian city of Flåm is located on the new, year-round accessible main road that connects East and West Norway. The port city has good train, bus, and boat connections to Oslo, Voss, and Bergen. The picturesque town is situated in the valley of a magnificent mountain landscape. Attractions in the vicinity of Flåm include the popular cycling trail "Rallarvegen", the Flåm Railway, and the Flåm Railway Museum. Numerous hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops are situated around the Flåm Railway facility. During the summer months, a shuttle bus takes interested visitors from Flåm to the sights.
