Cruise Route

Day 1: Kiel, Germany. Departure time: 20:00. Kiel is the state capital of Schleswig-Holstein. In this traditional shipbuilding and naval city, you can take a walk in nature, enjoy the fresh air, and still have all the advantages of a big city. This combination of being close to nature and city life offers the people of Kiel a special quality of life. With its 250,000 inhabitants, Kiel is the center for culture and economy in the region. Residents from the surrounding area come to Kiel specifically to enjoy its diverse cultural scene, including opera and theater stages, concert halls, its own children`s and youth theater, museums, collections, independent cultural institutions, and scene meeting places. Kiel`s flagship event is the annual "Kieler Woche" - the largest sailing festival in the world!.

Day 2: Copenhagen, Denmark. Arrival time: 10:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours. Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark, where according to UN statistics, the happiest people in the world live. The city is best explored by bike or on foot, as the center is not too big and easy to navigate. The Nyhavn is worth a visit, a water canal with many old sailing ships, leading through colorful houses painted in yellow, green, and red. You should also visit the little mermaid. The bronze statue is from the story of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen and is located at the Langelinie Pier. The Tivoli amusement park attracts young and old and is known as the second oldest amusement park in the world.

Day 3: Sea day.

Day 4: Hellesylt (Sunnylvsfjord), Norway. Arrival time: 09:00. Departure time: 11:00. Duration of port stay: 2 hours. The Norwegian city of Hellesylt is located on the Storfjord (Sunnylvsfjord), directly at the entrance to the large Geirangerfjord. In close proximity is the wild Norangdal with the famous mountains "Slogen", "Smorskredtind", "Skruven", and "Kvitegga". Just 200 m from the ferry dock, the powerful Hellesylt Waterfall rushes over many mighty rocks. Here you can see the cute dipper bird diving.

Day 4: Geiranger (Geirangerfjord), Norway. Arrival time: 13:00. Departure time: 20:00. Duration of port stay: 7 hours. The city in western Norway is located at the eastern end of the Geirangerfjord, which is characterized by deep canyons and high mountains. The image of the port city is shaped by numerous smaller hotels. Attractions: The viewpoints Flydalsjuvet and Dalsnibba, the waterfalls Bridal Veil, The Suitor, and The Seven Sisters, the Geological Park, the church, the Fjord Experience Center providing information about the history of the area, and the royal farm Skageflå.

Day 5: Ålesund, Norway. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours. The port city of Ålesund, located on three islands, was rebuilt in the Art Nouveau style after the great fire of 1904. The best view of the city in the sea and the archipelago can be seen from the viewpoint hill "Aksla", which can be reached on foot via 418 steps or more comfortably by car. There is the panoramic restaurant "Fjellstua" located there. The Ålesund Museum offers insight into the city`s history. At the "Atlanterhavs" Park, you can observe the marine creatures of the Atlantic in large seawater aquariums. About 4 km east of the center is the Sunnmøre Museum, which consists of several departments. The Medieval Museum provides an insight into the everyday life of that time, and you can also visit an open-air museum and a boat exhibition with old fishing boats and reconstructed Viking ships. A special nature experience awaits on the popular excursion to the bird island "Runde" southwest of Ålesund. When departing from June to October: Alesund (Norway): 09:45 - 10:00 a.m. & additionally from June to August: Geiranger (Norway): 2:15 - 2:30 p.m. & September to October: Hjorundfjorden (Norway): 12:15 - 3:45 p.m.

Day 6: Stavanger, Norway. Arrival time: 10:00. Departure time: 20:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours. Norway`s fourth largest city gained its size through herring fishing. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was also home to the world`s largest canning industry. Today, Norway`s oil capital showcases a mixture of Nordic coziness and cosmopolitanism, which can be felt particularly when visiting the fish market. As the city has been spared from any fires, entire neighborhoods with old wooden houses have been preserved. Nearly 200 of these restored white wooden buildings in narrow, steep streets with cobblestones and gas lanterns in the Gamle Stavanger district recall the time of the city`s founding. Attractions: Canning Museum, Valbergturm, Maritime Museum, Utstein Monastery, Lysefjord, Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral.
