During the season between September and November, the once hunted marine animals can be observed wonderfully.
Day 3: Burnie (Tasmania), Australia. Arrival time: 10:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours. The city of Burnie is located on the north coast of Tasmania. Day 5 - 6: Sea day.
Day 7: Doubtful Sound, New Zealand. The vast, remote area of the untouched fjord "Doubtful Sound" overwhelms every visitor. Due to heavy rainfall, there is a several meter thick layer of fresh water on the sea water, which absorbs light through the washed out plant residues. Therefore, corals can be found here, which are usually only found at greater depths, just a few meters below the water surface. Other inhabitants of the fjord are dolphins, penguins, and fur seals.
Day 7: Dusky Sound, New Zealand. The "Dusky Sound" is the largest fjord in New Zealand. The sight of this huge fjord apparently also impressed Cook. So after its discovery in 1770, he returned for a few weeks to explore the landscape in detail.
Day 7: Milford Sound, New Zealand. The Milford Sound is a fjord on the South Island of New Zealand and is probably one of the country`s biggest tourist attractions. The most popular way to explore the fjord is by water. Numerous boats depart daily and take passengers out onto the water to enjoy the beauty and unique sight of this natural spectacle. A walk from the docking points leads directly to another attraction, the Lady Bowen Falls. From there, you can once again enjoy a breathtaking view of the Milford Sound and the most distinctive mountain in the area, the Mitre Peak.

Akaroa is located near Christchurch on a natural harbor, surrounded by volcanic hills. A volcanic crater shapes the picturesque harbor of Akaroa with its many small bays. The special feature of Akaroa`s bay is its residents - the rare species of Hector`s dolphins, which can only be found in this part of the world. In 1840, French settlers came to Akaroa, so many streets still have French names today, and the city is characterized by French charm. Worth seeing is the picturesque Catholic parish church St. Patrick, which blends particularly well into the picturesque scenery with its green roof. The old customs house from 1863 is also worth a visit.
