Points of interest include the Royal Palace "Alcazaba," built in the 11th century and equipped with an Archaeological Museum, the city`s cathedral, built around 1528, with charming chapels "Capilla Mayor" and "Capilla del Sagrado Corazón," numerous churches, Pablo Picasso`s birthplace, and the 18th-century buildings "Casa del Consulado," "Palacio de la Aduana," "Casa Palacio del Marqués de Valdeflores," and the park areas "Puerta Oscura," "de Ricasso," and "de Pedro Luis Alonso.".

It is connected to the mainland by a narrow, 9 km long isthmus and a bridge. The population totals 154,000 inhabitants. The white city by the sea, built on seven hills and surrounded by the natural harbor "Rio Tejo", was founded by the Phoenicians around the 9th-7th century BC. Today it is the capital of Portugal and also one of the oldest cities in Europe. Lisbon is rich in monuments. In addition, the Portuguese capital offers a diverse and interesting cultural scene with theater performances, concerts and exhibitions. The "Bairro Alto" (Upper Town) is known for its nightlife. Attractions: Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, Commerce Square, São Jorge Castle, Baixa Pombalina.

Day 4: Sea day.

Day 5: Alicante, Spain. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. The prosperous city on the Spanish Mediterranean possesses both interesting buildings and monuments as well as beautiful beaches. Tourist attractions: The Baroque Town Hall, the huge castle "Santa Barbara", the 19th-century Castle of San Fernando, the ruins "Tossal de Manises" that show the origins of Alicante. The Spanish port city possesses many magnificent townhouses, countless churches, and two palaces: "Gravina" Palace and "Palace of the Provincial Government".

Day 6: Mahon (Menorca), Balearic Islands. Arrival time: 09:00. Departure time: 16:00. Duration of port stay: 7 hours. The picturesque natural harbor of Mahón, located in the Mediterranean, became the island capital during the British occupation in 1722. From the main square "Plaça de l`Esplanada," through the pedestrian zone, one can reach the fish and vegetable market under the old cloister of a former monastery. From there, you have a magnificent view of the harbor of Mahón, which combines an English style with a Mediterranean atmosphere. Places of interest include the city gate "Pont de Sant Roc," dating back to around 1500, which served as a city wall in the Middle Ages.

Day 7: Olbia (Sardinia), Italy. Arrival time: 10:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours. Olbia is often seen as the gateway to Sardinia, as it has a ferry port and a nearby airport. From the central square Piazza Margherita, you can reach the shopping street Corso Umberto, which has a large number of bars, restaurants, and shops. Also worth a visit is the 13th-century church Chiesa San Paolo, which impresses with its colorful dome. Just a few kilometers from Olbia, you can visit the castle Castello di Pedres.

Day 8: Genoa, Italy. Arrival time: 09:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours. The northern Italian port city is located on the Gulf of Genoa and is the capital of Liguria and the province of Genoa. The population includes 660,000 inhabitants.
