Cruise Route

Day 1: Istanbul, Turkey. A global metropolis with a unique character. A city full of beauty and contrasts, with breathtaking world history, from Byzantium to Constantinople to the present. Furthermore, Istanbul is not just culture. Shopping on a budget, eating oriental cuisine, or meeting new people are just a few examples among many. The city is full of historically significant buildings, monuments, churches, and mosques.

Day 2: Istanbul, Turkey. Departure time: 23:00. A global metropolis with a unique character. Day 3: Sea day.

Day 4: Bodrum, Turkey. Arrival time: 09:00. Departure time: 21:00. Duration of port stay: 12 hours. The Turkish port city was built on the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Halicarnassus. Findings testify to a 5,000-year-old history of an intercultural city. Various civilizations were based here and were repeatedly subjected to conquests. Bodrum was annexed to the Ottoman Empire in 1523 AD, after the victory of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent over Rhodes. Attractions: The amphitheater, the "Castle of St. Peter" built in 1495 by the Knights Hospitaller, and the Museum of Underwater Archaeology. The Mausoleum, the burial place of King Mausolus who died in 353 BC, is considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Alexander the Great also advanced to Bodrum. The historian Arianus reports on long-lasting battles at the "Myndos Gate".

Day 5: Rhodes, Greece. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 20:00. Duration of port stay: 12 hours. Rhodes, the island of the sun god Helios, is the largest and most popular island in the southeastern Aegean. Due to its geographically convenient location, it was once an important link between the East and the West. Along the 220 km long coastline, bays with beautiful shallow sandy beaches alternate with steep cliffs. The landscape in the interior of the island is mainly characterized by mountains, valleys, and plateaus. Rhodes has a history of more than 3000 years. Numerous archaeological sites of ancient buildings are evidence of a rich past. Sightseeing: ruins from Mycenaean times, ancient theater, Gothic buildings, fortification ring from the time of the Knights Hospitaller, Turkish mosque, Turkish bath.

Day 6: Amorgos, Greece. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 21:00. Duration of port stay: 13 hours. Amorgos, located approximately 30 kilometers southeast of Naxos, is a Greek island in the southern Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. The island is rich in sights, with the Monastery of Panagia Chozoviotissa being particularly recommended. The port towns of Katapola and Aegiali enchant every tourist with their crystal-clear waters in the bays and olive groves.

Day 7: Paros, Greece. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 20:00. Duration of port stay: 13 hours. The Greek island of Paros is a central hub of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. The traditional capital, Parikia, impresses with its snow-white painted houses and picturesque alleys. In the historic old town, you will find one of Greece`s most magnificent and important churches: Panagia Ekatontapliani (the "Church of the Hundred Gates"). In addition to numerous attractions such as the archaeological museum, the Venetian castle, and the stalactite cave, beautiful sandy beaches stretch along the Aegean coast.

Day 8: Piraeus (Athens), Greece. Arrival time: 07:00. Piraeus, a modern port city today, has been the port of Athens since ancient times, connected to the capital by city walls, of which only remains are left. Piraeus has gained a reputation for its attractive nightlife and romantic seafood taverns by the sea. Sights include the ancient port of Zea Marina, remains of the Long Walls (5th century BC), Archaeological Museum with ancient wrecks, Apollo and Athena statues, Hellenic Maritime Museum, and Veakio Theater.
