Cruise Route

Day 1: Malaga, Spain. Malaga was founded around the 8th century BC by the seafaring Phoenicians. Today, Malaga is a modern city with a significant commercial port, an airport, and a university. Furthermore, the city enjoys an optimal climate throughout the year, making it one of the main tourist destinations on the Iberian Peninsula.

Sights: The Royal Palace "Alcazaba," built in the 11th century and equipped with an Archaeological Museum, the city`s Cathedral, constructed around 1528, featuring charming chapels "Capilla Mayor" and "Capilla del Sagrado Corazón," numerous churches, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, the 18th-century buildings "Casa del Consulado," "Palacio de la Aduana," "Casa Palacio del Marques de Valdeflores," and the park areas "Puerta Oscura," "de Ricasso," "de Pedro Luis Alonso.".

Day 2: Almeria, Spain. The city of Almería facing the Mediterranean Sea is modern and lively. It is one of the Andalusian cities that have best preserved their Moorish heritage. Traditional buildings and ports are the main attractions. The most important sights include the cathedral, the Moorish fortress "Alcazaba", and the market hall.

Day 3: Cartagena, Spain. The port city of Cartagena, located in the southeastern Spain on the Costa Calida, is ideal for a shore excursion. Its architecture reflects the Roman era in the cityscape. The ancient Roman theater, the Art Nouveau town hall, and the Grand Hotel are among the main attractions. The cozy old town with its unique charm, numerous restaurants, and shops invites visitors to linger.

Day 4: Ibiza (Balearic Islands), Spain. Ibiza is the westernmost island of the Balearic Islands belonging to Spain in the western Mediterranean. Together with the southern island of Formentera and the smaller surrounding islets, it forms the so-called Pityusen group. Ibiza itself has a lot to offer: sun, sea, beautiful sandy beaches, magnificent landscapes, and the center of Ibiza Town with its lovely old town and vibrant life. In many parts of the island, the landscapes and ancient cultural monuments have preserved their originality. The island is also considered an Eldorado for night owls and a mecca for water sports enthusiasts.

Day 5: Mahon (Menorca), Balearic Islands. The picturesque natural harbor of Mahón is located in the Mediterranean and became the island`s capital during the British occupation in 1722. Starting from the main square "Placa de Esplanada," you can walk through the pedestrian zone to reach the fish and vegetable market located under the old cloister of a former monastery. From there, you can enjoy a splendid view of the port of Mahón, which combines English style with a Mediterranean atmosphere.

Sights: The city gate "Pont de Sant Roc", which was built around 1500 and served as a city wall in the Middle Ages.

Day 6: Sea day.

Day 7: Cagliari (Sardinia), Italy. Cagliari is the capital of Sardinia and also the largest and oldest city on the island (evidence from the 8th century BC). It was founded by the Phoenicians and is located in the south of the island. Attractions include: Castello di Cagliari from the 13th century, National Archaeological Museum and "Siamese Cardu" Museum, Roman Necropolis of "Travixeddu and Bonaria", San Saturnino Church from the 5th century AD, Cathedral from the 14th century, Elephant Tower and San Pancrazio Tower, Roman Amphitheater, Botanical Garden.

Day 8: Sea day.

Day 9: Gozo, Malta. Just a few kilometers away from Malta lies the sister island of Gozo. This island surprises visitors with its extraordinary green landscape and offers nature lovers a fascinating variety of plants. Additionally, this small island is rich in historical sites, coastal towers, and churches.

Day 10: Valletta, Malta. Valletta is the first city of modern times, entirely designed by Jean de la Valetta of the Knights of St. John. The capital of Malta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon entering the harbor, you can see the impressive fortifications of the old town with its grand buildings. The city invites visitors to explore the solemn St. John`s Co-Cathedral and the Grandmaster`s Palace of the Knights of St. John from the 16th century. The bustling Republic Street is a testament to socializing and shopping fun. Other attractions include the Upper Barrakka Gardens, the National Archaeology Museum, Fort St. Elmo with its military museum, and the historic palace.
