Cape Canaveral is home to the NASA Kennedy Space Center, the US Astronaut Hall of Fame, the Air Force Space Museum with over 700 rockets, the historic Launch Complex 39, and the Florida US Space Camp. From here, all Apollos and Space Shuttles were launched. Port Canaveral has evolved from a small oil and shrimp port into one of the largest cruise ports in the world, with over 3 million passengers per year. Day 3: Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. Arrival time: 10:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours. Amber Cove is located in the province of Puerto Plata on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, not far from the mouth of the Maimon River. Picturesque sandy beaches, coffee, cocoa, and sugarcane cultivation define the lifestyle in this area of the Caribbean. A few kilometers to the east is the famous port city of Puerto Plata with a population of 130,000; its name dates back to Christopher Columbus. This is where the first permanently inhabited settlement in the "New World" was located. From Puerto Plata, you can visit the mountain Isabel de Torres, which is located in the national park of the same name, with a cable car. The fort "Fortaleza San Felipe", which now houses a museum, is also worth a visit.

Day 4: San Juan, Puerto Rico. Arrival time: 10:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours. San Juan, the capital of the US American island of Puerto Rico in the Greater Antilles, is considered the oldest American city. Expeditions to explore the New World started from here. The historic old town with the university, the La Fortaleza fortress, the gothic cathedral, and the historic buildings from the Spanish colonial period are worth seeing. Since 1983, San Juan has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The new San Juan advertises with luxurious resort hotels, casinos, and upscale nightclubs. Nature lovers can explore the nearby rainforest with its mountain lakes and waterfalls from here.

Day 5: St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 16:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. St. Thomas is part of the Virgin Islands and is one of the largest and most lively tourist centers in the Caribbean. The American island used to belong to Denmark and was bought by the US in 1917. The main attraction is the beautiful beaches, but the island also offers a variety of sights and a lively nightlife, especially in the capital city of Charlotte Amalie, which is characterized by colonial houses in Danish style. In the hilly northwest of the island is the Mountain Top, which offers a view of 19 of the surrounding Virgin Islands. A ride in the Atlantis Submarine is also an unforgettable experience. Sights include the Historical Museum Fort Christian, Coral World Observatory, Frederick Lutheran Church, Government Building on Government Hill, Venus Column on Magnolia Hill, and the Synagogue on Crystal Glade.
