The city, with a population of 6,700 inhabitants, is located on the south coast of the country. Tourists can find numerous shopping opportunities in the highly modern harbor area of the picturesque town, as well as an exciting nightlife. In Bridgetown, there is a historic synagogue that was built in 1627 shortly after the founding of the British colony by Brazilian Jews. The beaches of Dover, Rockley, and Needhams Point offer a wide range of water sports activities.
Day 4: Port of Spain (Trinidad), Trinidad and Tobago. Arrival time: 09:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. Port of Spain is the port and capital of Trinidad, as well as the joint capital of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The city center, located between the port and Queen`s Park Savannah, can easily be explored on foot. The ideal starting point for a city stroll is Frederick Street, one of the main shopping streets that begins near the harbor at South Quay. There you can also see Fort San Andres, built in 1785 to protect the harbor, which now houses various government offices. Worth seeing are the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, the Jama Masija mosque.

On a hill above the city is the Fort "King George" with a museum and a beautiful view. In the center, a market is held until noon. The Buccoo Reef is a paradise for snorkelers and divers. Located directly at the harbor is the Market House from 1810 and the lovingly restored Old Market, where souvenirs are sold today. Particularly worth seeing are the Anglican Church, the State House, once the seat of the governor, and the new parliament building from 1811. The Methodist Church, the Botanical Garden, and the Roman Catholic Cathedral are also worth a visit. From the Morne Bruce hill, which used to be an ideal defense post, one has a wonderful view over the capital and the bay. Dominica`s trademark are extinct volcanoes, vast tropical forests with hot sulfur springs, waterfalls, and dark blue lakes.

Sint Maarten, with its capital Philipsburg, is the smaller Dutch part of the enchanting Caribbean island that the Netherlands and France have peacefully shared since 1648. The Dutch part of the island is among the most popular shopping and vacation destinations in the Caribbean. In Philipsburg alone, there are over 500 shops in the pastel-colored Dutch style, where luxury goods can be purchased at up to 50% below the regular retail price. The best way to experience genuine Caribbean flair is at the Saturday market in the capital. Attractions: Zoo, Philipsburg Museum, Fortress in the Great Bay Harbor, Casino, beaches.

Since 1983, San Juan has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The new San Juan advertises with luxurious resort hotels, casinos, and upscale nightclubs. Nature lovers can explore the nearby rainforest with its mountain lakes and waterfalls from here.
