Cruise Route

Day 1: San Juan, Puerto Rico. Departure time: 20:30. San Juan, the capital of the US American island of Puerto Rico in the Greater Antilles, is considered the oldest American city. Expeditions to explore the New World started from here. The historic old town with the university, the La Fortaleza fortress, the gothic cathedral, and the historic buildings from the Spanish colonial period are worth seeing. Since 1983, San Juan has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The new San Juan advertises with luxurious resort hotels, casinos, and upscale nightclubs. Nature lovers can explore the nearby rainforest with its mountain lakes and waterfalls from here.

Day 2: Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. Tortola, the "Dove Island", is the largest and most densely populated island of the British Virgin Islands. The highest elevation on the island is Mount Sage, standing at 543 meters, offering beautiful views of the bay-rich coral reefs. Large areas of forestland are designated as nature reserves. Near Road Town, the capital of the island, lie the remains of the British Fort George from the 18th century, and on Harrigan`s Hill, the remains of Fort Charlotte. The establishment of Fort Recovery is attributed to the first Dutch settlers. Worth seeing are also the ruins of "The Dungeon" which rise up near Pockwood Pond. Even today, carved drawings can be seen in these underground vaults.

Day 3: St. John`s (Antigua), Antigua and Barbuda. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 16:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. St. John`s is the capital and only deep-water port of the mini-state of Antigua and Barbuda in the northeastern Caribbean. Clear water and hundreds of beaches with fine sand surround the city. Since you can shop duty-free on the island, you will find a variety of fashion boutiques, electronics stores, and jewelers directly at Heritage Quay, close to the port. Traditional crafts, straw dolls, masks, and exotic colorful fashion can be found in the former slave quarters. The building of the former British colonial court now houses the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda, with exhibits from the colonial era and the slave trade. The St. John`s Cathedral with two Georgian bell towers sits on a hill overlooking the city. Sugar cane is mainly cultivated in the plantations in the surrounding area. Disembarkation after breakfast between 8:00 and 9:30 am.

Day 4: St. Lucia, St. Lucia. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. St. Lucia, a small island state in the eastern Caribbean, is part of the Lesser Antilles. With its tropical climate and exotic rainforest, the island can be described as a dream destination for sun-seekers and explorers. Wide beaches invite you to dive and snorkel; hikers and nature observers can explore the rainforest or visit the world`s only walkable volcanic crater. In the capital city of Castries, there are excellent shopping opportunities and the chance to watch silk processing. Historic buildings and a fortress above the city remind of the British and French rule on the island. Attractions: Hill of Good Luck, Marigot Bay, historic colonial buildings, Pigeon Island Nature Park with museum.

Day 5: Bridgetown, Barbados. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 13:00. Duration of port stay: 6 hours. Bridgetown is the capital of the state of Barbados. The city, with a population of 6,700 inhabitants, is located on the south coast of the country. Tourists can find numerous shopping opportunities in the highly modern harbor area of the picturesque town, as well as an exciting nightlife. In Bridgetown, there is a historic synagogue that was built in 1627 shortly after the founding of the British colony by Brazilian Jews. The beaches of Dover, Rockley, and Needhams Point offer a wide range of water sports activities.

Day 6: Philipsburg, St. Martin. Arrival time: 10:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. Sint Maarten, with its capital Philipsburg, is the smaller Dutch part of the enchanting Caribbean island that the Netherlands and France have peacefully shared since 1648. The Dutch part of the island is among the most popular shopping and vacation destinations in the Caribbean. In Philipsburg alone, there are over 500 shops in the pastel-colored Dutch style, where luxury goods can be purchased at up to 50% below the regular retail price. The best way to experience genuine Caribbean flair is at the Saturday market in the capital. Attractions: Zoo, Philipsburg Museum, Fortress in the Great Bay Harbor, Casino, beaches.

Day 7: St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. St. Thomas is part of the Virgin Islands and is one of the largest and most lively tourist centers in the Caribbean. The American island used to belong to Denmark and was bought by the US in 1917. The main attraction is the beautiful beaches, but the island also offers a variety of sights and a lively nightlife, especially in the capital city of Charlotte Amalie, which is characterized by colonial houses in Danish style. In the hilly northwest of the island is the Mountain Top, which offers a view of 19 of the surrounding Virgin Islands. A ride in the Atlantis Submarine is also an unforgettable experience. Sights include the Historical Museum Fort Christian, Coral World Observatory, Frederick Lutheran Church, Government Building on Government Hill, Venus Column on Magnolia Hill, and the Synagogue on Crystal Glade.
