Cruise Route

Day 1: Bremerhaven, Germany. Departure time: 17:00. Bremerhaven, the independent city of the state of Bremen, is located north of Bremen on the Lower Weser River. Founded in 1827, it became the starting point of the first regular ship traffic between the USA and the European continent in 1847. In 1938, Bremerhaven was incorporated into the city of "Wesermünde". In 1947, Wesermünde was renamed "Bremerhaven" and the state of Bremen was formed. Attractions include the "Atlanticum", German Maritime Museum, Historical Museum, Kunsthalle Bremerhaven, Museum Harbor, the museum ships "Wal", "Gera" and "Goliath", fishing port, submarine "Wilhelm Bauer", and the zoo.

Day 2 - 5: Sea day.

Day 6: Funchal (Madeira), Portugal. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 22:00. Duration of port stay: 14 hours. Funchal is the capital of Madeira and is located on the southern coast of the island. The port city stretches from a relatively flat coastline to the adjacent mountain range. Funchal is not only suitable for relaxing in one of the floating cafes on the promenade, but also for shopping for delicious delicacies in the market hall, which offers a wide range of fish, flowers, and vegetables. The city center is also worth seeing: in the small old town is the famous fortress. The upper town is dominated by the "Pico Fort" called "Castelo de São de Pico". At the foot of the fortress is the English cemetery. Other attractions include the cathedral, the old customs building, the fort "São Tiago", the city park, "Quinta das Cruzes" - a garden with an archaeological park.

Day 7: Sea day.

Day 8: Reef (Lanzarote), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 22:00. Duration of port stay: 14 hours. Arrecife is the capital of Lanzarote with approximately 40,000 inhabitants. Just 200 years ago, there was only a small port here, which belonged to the former capital Teguise. It was only in the last century that the city slowly began to develop. Arrecife consists almost exclusively of small winding alleys. Attractions include the "Castillo de San Gabriel" with an archaeological museum and the "Castillo de San José". The main shopping streets "Calle Real" and "León y Castillo" are lined with numerous shops and entertainment venues.

Day 9: Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 22:00. Duration of port stay: 15 hours. Puerto del Rosario is the main town of the Canary Island Fuerteventura. A stroll along Avenida de los Reyes de España, the promenade by the sea, is particularly worthwhile. Numerous white, restored houses mark the end of the promenade and resemble a white city wall. The central meeting points are the church square and the Tinguaro café near the tiny market hall. During siesta time, it is best to pass the time with a leisurely lunch at one of the many small restaurants. Attractions include the parish church Nuestra Señora del Rosario with stained glass windows, Casa Museo Unamuno, the colonial-style town hall, and Playa Blanca.

Day 10: Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 21:00. Las Palmas is the capital of the island of Gran Canaria and offers two large beaches within its two bays. The port of Puerto de la Luz is one of the most important ports in Europe. Las Palmas has a very good infrastructure and impresses with its historic old town, where the Santa Ana Cathedral is located. Since its construction in 1497, the cathedral has been restored and modified several times, resulting in a combination of Gothic, Renaissance, and Neoclassical styles. Other attractions in the old town include the Columbus House.

The mountain Monte de la Esperanza in front of the city is also worth a visit, as the summit offers a breathtaking view of the island. Attractions: Plaza de Espana with War Memorial, Museums of Archaeology and Anthropology, Carta-Palace, Baroque Church Iglesia de la Concepción, Museum of Painting and Sculpture, Castillo de Paso Alto.

Day 13: San Sebastián de la Gomera (La Gomera), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 11 hours. The capital of the Canary Island La Gomera, with its approximately 4,500 inhabitants, is characterized by a rather rural charm without stress and hustle. Near the promenade of the harbor is the Plaza de Las Américas. This centrally located square is lined with numerous kiosks and terrace cafes and serves as the public meeting place of the city. On its eastern side is the town hall, right behind it is the Plaza de la Constitutión. Among the old Indian laurel trees located there, one can hear the market cries of the Gomerians twice a week, who offer their homemade jams, fresh fruit, vegetables, and other delicacies. In addition, one of the oldest buildings in the city is located here, the former customs house. ".

Day 14: Santa Cruz de la Palma (La Palma), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 11 hours. The capital of the Canary Island La Palma, like the entire island, is rather quiet. On the city`s only main street, there are a number of smaller, typical local shops and stores that invite you to shop. The city, located directly on the coast, is known for its enchanting harbor. Other attractions in the city are the town hall and the maritime museum housed in a large sailing ship, a replica of the ship that Columbus sailed to America.

Day 15 - 16: Sea day.

The white city by the sea, built on seven hills and surrounded by the natural harbor "Rio Tejo", was founded by the Phoenicians around the 9th-7th century BC. Today it is the capital of Portugal and also one of the oldest cities in Europe. Lisbon is rich in monuments. In addition, the Portuguese capital offers a diverse and interesting cultural scene with theater performances, concerts and exhibitions. The "Bairro Alto" (Upper Town) is known for its nightlife. Attractions: Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, Commerce Square, São Jorge Castle, Baixa Pombalina.

Day 18: Leixões (Porto), Portugal. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours. Portugal`s secret capital, Porto, is the namesake of the whole country. It is considered one of the most beautiful metropolises in Europe and is mainly known for its famous Port wine. Those who don`t want to miss out on urban ambiance will feel at home in Porto, the country`s second-largest city. The glorious Portuguese fleet was built in the city`s port. However, there are also cafes and bistros. The houses in the city are closely packed together on steep cliffs, often closely behind and above each other, creating terraces of extremely picturesque effect. Sights: Praça da Liberdade, Câmara Municipal, Soares-dos-Reis National Museum.

Day 19: La Coruña, Spain. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 16:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours. The port city of La Coruña is located on the Atlantic coast in the far northwest of the country and is the capital of Galicia. In 1588, it was the setting of the battle between Spanish King Felipe II and England. The city is characterized by the atmosphere and scent of the Atlantic, as well as its glazed balconies and weathered stones. The port of La Coruña shapes the lives of its people, which are vibrant and welcoming. Points of interest include the "Pescaderia" fisherman`s district with its typical bars and restaurants, the medieval old town with numerous churches, and magnificent 18th-century mansions.
