Cruise Route

Day 1: Lisbon, Portugal. Departure time: 19:00. The white city by the sea, built on seven hills and surrounded by the natural harbor "Rio Tejo", was founded by the Phoenicians around the 9th-7th century BC. Today, it is the capital of Portugal and one of the oldest cities in Europe. Lisbon is rich in architectural landmarks. In addition, the Portuguese capital offers a diverse and interesting cultural scene with theater performances, concerts, and exhibitions. The "Bairro Alto" (Upper Town) is known for its nightlife options. Must-see attractions include the Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, Commerce Square, São Jorge Castle, and Baixa Pombalina.

Day 2: Sea day.

Day 3: Tangier, Morocco. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 10 hours. Tangier is a port and provincial capital on the North African coast, known as the gateway to Africa. The Old Town of Tangier is compact and consists of numerous narrow streets and shops selling typical goods. The Grand Socco square is a noteworthy attraction, serving as the main market square in the region and home to many tea houses. Also located there is the Bab Fahs, the main gate of the city wall. The coastal city is connected to the Spanish mainland by several ferries, which travel to destinations such as Algeciras, Tarifa, and Gibraltar.

Day 4: Casablanca, Morocco. Arrival time: 13:00. Casablanca is a modern metropolis with few old buildings and Moroccan cultural elements. It bears the influence of French colonialism. The cityscape, initially dominated by wide boulevards and French-inspired townhouses from the 1930s and 1940s, is now complemented by new skyscrapers and buildings in a neo-Oriental style. Casablanca`s attractions include the "Hassan II Mosque" and the artisan market "Youtiya" in the new Medina, the Habbous district. The main structures in the Medina are the mosques "Jamaa el Kebir" and "Jamaa ech Chleuh" and the Koubba of "Sidi el Kairouani," the city`s first patron saint.

Day 5: Casablanca, Morocco. Departure time: 21:00. Casablanca is a modern metropolis with few old buildings and Moroccan cultural elements. It bears the influence of French colonialism. The Moroccan city of Agadir is located in a wide bay with a broad sandy beach against the backdrop of the foothills of the High Atlas, with the fertile Sous plain as its hinterland. Attractions include the bird park with exotic birds, the Kasbah ruins at 236 meters above sea level, the Souss-Massa Nature Park, the open-air museum "Medina Polizzi," and the museums "Bert Flint" and "Municipal," as well as the Museum of Berber Art. Like every oriental city, Agadir is known for its market "Souk El Had.".

Day 8: Reef (Lanzarote), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 12:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 7 hours. Arrecife is the capital of Lanzarote with approximately 40,000 inhabitants. Just 200 years ago, there was only a small port here, which belonged to the then-capital Teguise. It was only in the last century that the city slowly began to develop. Arrecife is almost entirely made up of small winding streets. Attractions include the "Castillo de San Gabriel" with an Archaeological Museum and the "Castillo de San José". The main shopping streets are "Calle Real" and "León y Castillo" with numerous shops and entertainment venues.

Day 9: San Sebastián de la Gomera (La Gomera), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 12:00. Departure time: 23:45. Duration of port stay: 11 hours 45 minutes. The capital of the Canary Island of La Gomera, with its approximately 4,500 inhabitants, is characterized by a rather village-like charm without stress and hustle. Near the promenade, there is the Plaza de Las Américas. This centrally located square is lined with numerous kiosks and terrace cafes, forming the public meeting point of the city. On its east side stands the Town Hall, with the Plaza de la Constitutión right behind it. Among the old Indian laurel trees located there, one can hear the market cries of the Gomerians twice a week, as they offer their homemade jams, fresh fruit, vegetables, and other delicacies. Additionally, one of the oldest buildings in the city is located here, the former customs house.

The capital of the Canary Island La Palma is rather quiet, much like the entire island. The city`s main commercial street hosts a variety of smaller, local shops that are perfect for shopping. Located right by the coast, the city is renowned for its charming harbor. Other notable attractions include the town hall and the Maritime Museum housed within a large sailing ship, a replica of the vessel that carried Columbus to America.

Day 11: Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 08:30. The island capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a friendly, vibrant city that hosts the famous botanical garden alongside picturesque streets, parks, and squares. The center of Santa Cruz is a mix of old neighborhoods and modern architecture. Nearby the city, you can find the renowned beaches Las Gaviotas and Las Teresitas. The mountain Monte de la Esperanza located in front of the city is also worth a visit, as from its summit you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the island.
