Cruise Route

Day 1: Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Canary Islands. Departure time: 22:30. Las Palmas is the capital city of Gran Canaria and has two large beaches in its two bays. The Port of Puerto de la Luz is one of the most important ports in Europe. Las Palmas has excellent infrastructure and impresses with its historic old town, where the Santa Ana Cathedral stands. Since its construction in 1497, the cathedral has undergone several renovations and changes, resulting in a blend of Gothic, Renaissance, and Neoclassical styles. Other attractions in the old town include the Columbus House (Casa de Cólon) and the Canarian Museum, which documents the life of the island`s indigenous people. The Triana neighborhood is also worth a visit, with its beautiful pedestrian zone, municipal library, and the Pérez Galdós Theater.

Day 2: At sea.

Day 3: Funchal (Madeira), Portugal. Arrival time: 00:01. Funchal is the capital of Madeira and is located on the southern coast of the island. The port city stretches from a relatively flat coastal strip up into the adjacent mountain range. Funchal is not only perfect for relaxing in one of the floating cafes on the harbor promenade, but also for buying delicious delicacies at the market hall, which offers a wide range of fish, flowers, and vegetables. The city center is worth a visit too: The small old town is home to the famous fortress. The upper town is dominated by the "Pico Fort" also known as "Castelo de São de Pico". At the foot of the fortress lies the English cemetery. Other attractions include the cathedral, the old customs building, the fort of "São Tiago", the city park, and "Quinta das Cruzes" - a garden complex with an archaeological park.

The capital of the Canary Island La Palma is rather peaceful, just like the entire island. The city`s main street is lined with smaller, typical shops and stores that invite for shopping. Located directly on the coast, the city is famous for its enchanting harbor. Other attractions in the city include the Town Hall and the Maritime Museum housed in a large sailing ship, a replica of the ship that brought Columbus to America.

Day 6: Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 11 hours. The island capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is a friendly and lively city, with picturesque streets, parks, and squares. It is home to the famous botanical garden. The center of Santa Cruz is a blend of old neighborhoods and modern architecture. The famous beaches of Las Gaviotas and Las Teresitas are nearby. The mountain, Monte de la Esperanza, offers a breathtaking view of the island from its summit. Must-see attractions include Plaza de Espana with its War Memorial, museums of Archaeology and Anthropology, Carta Palace, Baroque church Iglesia de la Concepción, Museum of Painting and Sculpture, and Castillo de Paso Alto.

Day 7: Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 19:00. Duration of port stay: 11 hours. Puerto del Rosario is the main town of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. A stroll along the Avenida de los Reyes de España, the promenade by the sea, is highly recommended. Numerous white restored houses form a white city wall at the end of the promenade. Central meeting points are the church square and the Tinguaro cafeteria near the tiny market hall. During siesta time, the best way to pass the time is with a leisurely lunch at one of the many small restaurants. Places of interest: Parish Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario with stained glass windows, Casa Museo Unamuno, colonial-style town hall, Playa Blanca.
