Day 2 - 3: Sea day.
Day 4: Mindelo (Sao Vicente), Cape Verde. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 19:30. Duration of port stay: 12 hours 30 minutes. Mindelo is the second largest city in Cape Verde and is beautifully situated in a stunning bay. It is characterized by the country`s largest and most important port, "Porto Grande". Mindelo has the atmosphere of an international port city and is still a cultural and intellectual center of the archipelago. Attractions include the historic city center, the fish market, and a replica of the "Torre de Belém" from Lisbon, which is the city`s landmark.
Day 5: Beach (Island of São Tiago), Cape Verde. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 18:00. Duration of port stay: 11 hours. São Tiago with its capital Praia is the most African of the Cape Verdean islands. A particularly adventurous experience is a trip in the aluguer, the Cape Verdean shared taxi, to Assomada, where a large African-like market takes place twice a week. The center of the city is Plaça 12 de Septembro. It is framed by 19th-century buildings: in the southeast by the church Nossa Senhora da Graça and the majestic Justice Palace right next to it, in the southwest by the Ministry of the Interior and the Banco Comércio do Atlántico on Avenida Amilcar Cabral, which leads across the entire plateau. Also worth seeing is the new Ethnographic Museum, located north of the market.
Day 6 - 7: Sea day.
Day 8: Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Canary Islands. Arrival time: 04:30. Las Palmas is the capital of the island of Gran Canaria and offers two large beaches within its two bays. The port of Puerto de la Luz is one of the most important ports in Europe. Las Palmas has a very good infrastructure and impresses with its historic old town, where the Santa Ana Cathedral is located. Since its construction in 1497, the cathedral has been restored and modified several times, resulting in a combination of Gothic, Renaissance, and Neoclassical styles. Other attractions in the old town include the Columbus House.
