Cruise Route

Day 1: Seattle (Washington), USA. Departure time: 17:00. Seattle is also known as the "Emerald City." The largest city in the state of Washington is located on the shores of Lake Washington and Puget Sound, a fjord-like inlet with islands and waterways. From here, you have a wonderful view of the Cascades and Mount Rainier. The Seattle Center, home to the city`s famous landmark, the Space Needle, was built for the 1962 World`s Fair. The coffee city is also the birthplace of the popular Starbucks chain, with its coffee shops found on almost every street corner in Seattle. Insiders gather at Pike Place Market for strolling and shopping for fresh fish. The waterfront, with countless souvenir shops and seafood restaurants, invites you to take a stroll. Seattle can be explored on foot. Other must-see attractions include the Pacific Science Center, University of Washington, Japanese Gardens, Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, Chinatown, Monorail, and Smith Tower.

Day 2: Sea day.

Day 3: Juneau (Alaska), USA. Arrival time: 13:30. Departure time: 22:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours 30 minutes. Juneau, located between Mt. Juneau and the Gastineau Channel, was founded during the gold rush era and has maintained a cozy atmosphere due to the absence of major highways. The capital of Alaska offers many small attractions, such as old Victorian houses, the governor`s palace, museums, and much more.

Day 4: Skagway (Alaska), USA. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 20:00. Duration of port stay: 13 hours. Skagway is located in the Klondike National Historic Park. The town still preserves the memory of the gold rush era, when thousands of gold prospectors disembarked from ships on their way to seek their fortunes. The historical part of Skagway is particularly worth seeing, with its promenades lined with buildings featuring replicated facades. Points of interest include the Gold Rush Cemetery, Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, Trail-of-`98 Museum, and the historic downtown area.

Day 5: Hamburg (Alaska), USA. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 20:00. Duration of port stay: 13 hours. Hidden in the forests of Southeast Alaska and at the northern end of the longest fjord in America is the town of Haines. Impressive mountain ranges, glaciers, and vast rivers and lakes create a fairytale-like setting for a bird paradise in untouched wilderness. The port city of Haines is dedicated to coziness. Well-kept facades, uncrowded streets, and many cozy restaurants characterize the cityscape.

Day 6: Hubbard Glacier (Alaska), USA. Departure time: 17:00. The Hubbard Glacier is the longest glacier in Alaska that ends in the sea, measuring 122 kilometers in length. Once it reaches the Pacific, it also has a width of 12 kilometers. Besides its gigantic dimensions, the picturesque backdrop of the fjord with the bright blue color of the ice is an experience in itself.

Day 7: Sitka (Alaska), USA. Arrival time: 08:00. Departure time: 17:00. Duration of port stay: 9 hours. Sitka, founded in 1804 by the Russians, was the capital of Russian Alaska for a long time. About 1,000 meters above the community, there is a dormant volcano, and the city is surrounded by small islands. Sights such as the Russian Orthodox church and the Russian bishop`s house still remind us of the Russian influence today. In Sitka National Historical Park, you can visit a collection of totem poles, a fortress, and the reconstructed battlefield from 1904. The Southeast Alaska Indian Cultural Center is also located in this park, where you can watch local artists engage in their craft. The Sheldon Jackson Museum provides insight into the culture of the indigenous people and life in the cold throughout different eras. At the Alaska Wildlife Center, you can observe many native animals up close.

Day 8: Eisiger Strom (Alaska), USA. Arrival time: 07:00. Departure time: 15:00. Duration of port stay: 8 hours. The Icy Strait is the most diverse marine habitat in Alaska and is located near Glacier Bay National Park, which is found in the southeast of Alaska. Icy Strait is known for its abundant fish population; humpback whales, bald eagles, Steller sea lions, sea otters, and killer whales can be observed here.

Day 9: Ketchikan (Alaska), USA. Arrival time: 06:30. Departure time: 13:00. Duration of port stay: 6 hours 30 minutes. The "Salmon Capital of the World" is one of the places in Southeast Alaska that existed during Russian times. Like in Sitka, one can feel this Russian past here as well. Folklore dancers and the Russian Orthodox Church are part of it. In the "Totem Bight State Park," totem poles carved by the Tlingit Indians can be visited. Ketchikan is considered the Mecca of salmon fishermen, who settled here a hundred years ago.

Day 10: Victoria (British Columbia), Canada. Arrival time: 19:30. Departure time: 23:59. Duration of port stay: 4 hours 29 minutes. The charming provincial capital of British Columbia is located on Vancouver Island and offers European flair with narrow streets lined with beautiful 19th century stone buildings. Victorian architecture, red double-decker buses, and nostalgic horse-drawn carriages evoke the colonial era of the British Empire. In contrast, the numerous totem poles in the parks highlight the blending of cultures. Expansive gardens with exotic and native plants invite you to take a stroll. Places of interest: Butchart Gardens, Government House, Beacon Hill Park, Craigdarroch Castle, Helmcken House, Royal British Columbia Museum.

Day 11: Seattle (Washington), USA. Arrival time: 06:00. Seattle is also known as the "Emerald City."
